FAQs

Who qualifies for services?

While we will support anyone in need of learning, our program is designed for persons with learning challenges in the area of life skills. Our services are a great companion piece to other services (such as private therapies or a person's individualized education plan, iep.)

What age groups are supported?

Our target demographic are persons needing more intensive and structured life skill learning opportunities with an emphasis on preadolescents to early adulthood.

How does this work?

After the intake interview and an individualized plan has been developed, clients are supported one on one during instruction and will target the specific skill in need of tutoring.

Where will tutoring take place?

Tutoring location will vary based on need, can be in home or an alternative location based on clients tutoring plan.

How much does it cost?

Intake session $50 (expect 45 minutes to an hour) Base rate $40 per 30 minute session or $60 per hour. (rate may vary based on different factors ie. distance, activities, material)

How do I get started?

Contact Melinda or Tracy here to request services and we will arrange a time to meet for a consultation. During the consultation, Life Skill Tutoring will conduct an intake interview to begin to build an individualized tutoring plan. This plan will contain goals and a road map of steps we will take to implement the skills needed to achieve the goal.
